Future VC 2020, the intern program for people from underrepresented backgrounds to get into venture capital, is going to be a little different this summer, but we are optimistic that it will have a positive impact on the future of the industry.

Due to Covid-19, there will be no ‘in person’ internship placements this year. However, we are on a mission to ensure that coronavirus does not negatively impact diversity and inclusion in venture.

Therefore, Future VC 2020 will deliver a curriculum of webinars by industry-leading venture capitalists. Also, as the programme is online, we are able to expand the cohort. Last year, we worked with 30 interns. This year, we will welcome over 300 remote participants. Every individual that participates is from a background that is currently underrepresented in venture capital.

It is worth mentioning that Future VC will be back in its original form. Last year, the programme involved a 2 month paid placement and in-person masterclasses from VC veterans for 30-40 talented individuals. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown has made in person placements impossible. But the placements will be back in 2021!

If you’re a potential Future VC and would like access to, the 2020 programme will give you access to:
